Kamil Mukhametdinov
KAMIL MUKHAMETDINOV

Kamil Mukhametdinov is born in 1996 in Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan. He studied cello and graduated from the Secondary Specialized School of Music at the Kazan Conservatory (class of Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Lapteva). After what he graduated from the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov. There he worked from 2019 - 2021 as an assistant trainee (class of Honored Artist of the RT Irina Lapteva, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Boris Andrianov). And from 2020 - 2022 as a teacher already.


Since 2022 he lives in Swiss and has been a student of the Higher School of Music of Geneva in the class of Ophelie Gaillard.


In January 2012, representing the Republic of Tatarstan, he performed in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Turkey, followed by the Svyatoslav Richter Foundation's summer school of creativity. In the summer of 2014 in Germany (Engers), he participated at the summer school "Landesmusikakademie", and performed concerts as a soloist, ensemble and orchestra member.


Since 2014 he has been a soloist at the St. Petersburg "House of Music" - a participant in the programs: "River of Talents", "Generation Next", "Music Team of Russia", "Embassies of Mastery". He has studied with such teachers as Danjulo Ishizaka, Martti Roussi, Gary Hoffman, David Geringas, Alexei Seleznev, Denis Shapovalov, Boris Andrianov, Kirill Rodin, Konstantin Manaev, Alexander Buzlov, Sergey Roldugin and others.  In the summer of 2017 in Holland, attended a summer school where he studied with Prof. Rafael Wallfisch.
In the summer of 2023 in France, he participated at the Esperus Music Academy with Prof. Gary Hoffman.

 

He performs solo, with orchestras and in chamber ensembles. He has an extensive repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary composers. His performances have taken place in Russia in such cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Togliatti, Yoshkar-Ola, Ulyanovsk and others. He is also regularly invited for concerts in other countries, such as Holland, Finland, Poland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Austria, France, Macedonia.

2013, November - Kazan, II All-Russian Stringed Instruments Competition, I prize;
2013, December - Novomoskovsk, V International Competition of Chamber Ensembles, I prize, duet with Daria Vasilieva (piano);
