ELIZAVETA TOMANOVA
Elizaveta Tomanova was born on June 22, 1997 in Novy Urengoy (Russia) and started studying music from the age of 4 under the guidance of her mother Tatiana Tomanova. After finishing Children's School of Arts № 2 in her native city, Elizaveta entered a special school for gifted children in Kazan, which she graduated with honors in 2016 and entered the Kazan Conservatory in the class of prof.
Rem Urasin. In 2021 she graduated from the Kazan Conservatory and is currently studying at the F. Schubert Konservatorium (Vienna, Austria) in the class of Professor Tamara Atschba, with whom she works since 2019.
Since the age of six years Elizaveta has been actively involved in concert and competition activities. She has already received prizes at international competitions such as the Shostakovich Competition (Moscow, Russia), the G.Sviridov Competition (St. Petersburg, Russia), the Premio Paolo Spinchich
(Trieste, Italy), the Carlo Mosso Competition (Alessandria, Italy) and the Simone Delbert Fevrier Competition (Nice, France).
Elizaveta performed at the Moscow International House of Music, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, the Mozarteum Salzburg Conservatory (Salzburg, Austria), the Nice Conservatory (France) and concert halls in countries such as Lithuania, Spain, Germany and China.
As an artist of the Russian-Polish Festival "Youth Academy of Arts" (Moscow), she performed with the Chamber Orchestra "Viva Music" under the direction of A.Rudin, several years in a row was a member of the Music and Arts Festival of Svyatoslav Richter Foundation in Tarusa (Russia), performing with The Youth Orchestra under the direction of I.Velikanov.
For the solo program presented on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the city of Kassel (Germany), Liza received a letter of appreciation from the Oberbürgermeister of Kassel, Bertram Hilgen.
Elizaveta is a participant of master-classes of the leading European and Russian music teachers: Professor of the Moscow Conservatory L.V. Roschina; Professor N.L. Kogan; Professor of the Moscow Conservatory A. Diev; Professor of the Vienna Academy of Music and Performing Arts A. Sussmann; Professor of the Salzburg Mozarteum A. Weber; Professor, French pianist and conductor Jean-Bernard Pommier.
For several years she attended the "New Names" Summer Creative School under the guidance of Denis Matsuev (Suzdal, Russia) and the International Creative School of the S. Richter Foundation (Tarusa, Russia).
In summer of 2021 Elizaveta participated in the International Festival Virtuoso Belcanto in Lucca (Italy), where she held master classes with Professor B. Berman from Yale University. In autumn 2021 she becomes an artist of the Esperus Art Fund. In March 2022 she takes part at the Esperus Benefit Concert for Ukraine where she gives an exciting performance of the Shostakovich Piano Concerto. She is also very active as a chamber musician and performs as a duo with violinist Evgeny Artemenkov. They perform a recital together in January 2023 in the frames of the Esperus Concerts at the Ehrbar Hall of Vienna. The following spring, Elizaveta is invited to perform at the Bösendorf Salon, Vienna.
